Decatur H.S. Concert Choir Hosts ‘Bon Voyage’ Concert April 3
Just prior to taking their show on the road, the Decatur High School Concert will perform a free ‘Bon Voyage’ concert at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 3rd, in the Decatur Performing Arts Center, located at 2800 S.W. 320th St., Federal Way.
The choir will perform the program they are taking to the National Invitational “Festival of Gold” high school choral competition in New York City. Nationwide, only 25 choirs are invited to compete in this prestigious event.
The 56-member choir, the accompanying Decatur High staff and chaperones will leave directly for SeaTac airport from the concert venue to catch their flight to New York.
Recent fundraising efforts hosted by the Decatur High School Concert Choir and the Choir Boosters have been an overwhelming success. The Concert Choir wishes to thank all their supporters in the community by giving this free concert to highlight their efforts to prepare for the festival.
