Nominations Sought for District's First Athletic Hall of Fame
Federal Way Public Schools is establishing an Athletic Hall of Fame to honor past employees who have made a major impact on the district’s athletic programs. These people 1) must have served the district for a minimum of ten years, 2) must either have been retired for five years; or deceased, and 3) must have made a significant impact on the district’s or a specific school’s athletic program.
The Hall of Fame Inductees will be honored during a regular season football game in the fall of 2008 and will receive a certificate and have his or her name inscribed on a special banner placed at Federal Way Memorial Field. The name of nominee(s) and a brief description of how they meet the criteria should be mailed to Greg Flynn, Federal Way Memorial Field, 1300 S. 308th St., Federal Way, WA 98003, or faxed to 253/945-5577 or e-mailed to gflynn@fwps.org. The deadline for nominations is April 1.
