Battle of the Books Will Be Waged March 27
District third, fourth and fifth-grade students will have the opportunity again this year to participate in the Battle of the Books. Elementary schools will hold a school-level battle in which students will answer 25 questions about the books. Read more »
Board Director Applications Due Thursday, March 27
Federal Way Public Schools Board of Directors has announced that it is now accepting applications for the position of director, District 5. Dave Larson, who served in that position, tendered his resignation effective February 29, 2008. The Board will select a qualified replacement for Larson within 90 days. Read more »

Board President Dave Larson Resigning Position To Accept Municipal Court Judge Appointment
The Federal Way School Board of Directors voted to accept the resignation of Board President Dave Larson effective February 29th. Larson was appointed to the full-time position of Municipal Court Judge for the City of Federal Way. Read more »
