Career and Technical Education (CTE)/Academic Sequences

The following schedules allow students to pursue both an elective Career and Technical Education (CTE) sequence that includes an internship as well as course completion to apply to a competitive four-year college.  This can be done within the 24-credit framework seen below.  Please contact the Todd Beamer office for a course catalog describing their 32-credit configuration.  It also allows for a student to retake up to 2 classes without attending summer school if the student has failed a class.  Students who are preparing to enter a 4 Year College/University should take an AP or IB (TJHS only) class(es), three years of math, and a world language.

Please consult with a Guidance counselor or Career and College Specialist at your high school.

*Tech Prep College Credits

** Washington Assessment of Student Learning

Note:  Greater flexibility may be attained by obtaining a waiver for .5 PE credit through participation in school sports, organized physical activity, or marching band.
