Create A Platform

  • Offer parent activities
  • Organize forums
Gives parents an opportunity to offer feedback and get involved in ways that are meaningful to them for the purpose of identifying activities and solutions for raising student achievement and supporting equity and achievement.

Create A Pathway

  • Simplify processes
  • Clarify navigation procedures
Assists parents in navigating the system and supports the districts effort to promote smooth transitions for all students and parents. Supports parent and staff efforts to eliminate barriers and develop healthy partnerships for student achievement.

Deliver Presentations

  • Develop a Speaker’s Bureau
  • Provide a voice for parents/Advocate within the system
  • Serve as an external information resource outside of the system

Provides opportunities for parents, staff and education supporters to gain a better understanding of how the district is meeting the needs of students. This helps promote equal access to information for all families.
Supports efforts to mediate equitable outcomes for all families in times of conflict.
Supports parents’ efforts to use effective home strategies with their student to help raise achievement levels.

Support Partnerships

  • Collaborate with departments within the district
  • Collaborate with organizations outside of the district
Promotes effective communication and collaboration between parents, district staff and community organizations so resources are used efficiently and with student achievement as the primary focus.
