MissionStrengthen the Federal Way community through modeling an ethic of service providing: academic tutoring and civic leadership. Federal Way AmeriCorps academic tutoring mission is to increase students’ academic achievement in Federal Way Public Schools by offering tutoring and mobilizing a corps of volunteer tutors. Federal Way AmeriCorps civic leadership mission is to foster an ethic of service by implementing community projects that offer students and citizens an opportunity to volunteer. |

Members
AmeriCorps members serve the community by providing academic tutoring in the Federal Way Public Schools and within the community. Furthermore, AmeriCorps members participate in civic leadership, establish Neighborhood Emergency Teams (NET), and recruit community volunteers.
