Instruction
Standards-Based Education puts real learning at the forefront of the equation.
With learning as the focus, students can concentrate on true mastery of a topic or skill. And teachers can concentrate on teaching the most essential standards that every student must learn.
Each lesson taught is connected to a standard, and learning targets along the way mark progress toward meeting the standard.
Because learning goals will be clear and opportunities to meet them will be varied, students can spend less time figuring out how to navigate the success track in each individual class—and more time on real learning.
In Standards-Based Education, everyone—students, teachers and parents—will know what success looks like.
