Second Grade Learning Expectations

The learning expectations listed below are for second grade. Students will be assessed based on their progress toward meeting these grade-level expectations.

Computer Technology Expectations

Second-grade students will:

1. Start up and quit more than one program.

2. Name and save a file to the desktop

3. Create a small group slide show.

4. Enter an URL to access an Internet site.

5. Type a short story using simple editing tools.

6. Access the library database (web-based card catalog).
