Essential Learning 1: The student writes clearly and effectively.Writing Skill 1.4: Uses correct spelling of age-level words.
Definition of Writing Skill:
The student consistently spells the Spell Well, Level 2 words correctly in their writing.
Strategies:
- Display a Word Wall and/or word lists that includes all the Spell Well, Level 2 words for students to refer to during writing.
- The teacher gives students weekly spelling lists.
