Standardized Test for Assessment of Reading (STAR)
Standardized Test for Assessment of Reading (STAR) STAR Reading is a computer-adaptive, norm-referenced reading test. The STAR provides both criterion-referenced and norm-referenced scores. For district reporting purposes, an Instructional Reading Level (IRL) criterion-referenced score and a Grade Equivalent (GE) score are used to determine a district standard.
