Five Early-Release Days Added to 2012-13 School Year
Among the cost-saving measures built into the state's 2011-2013 bi-annual budget by the 2011 legislature was a salary reduction for all K-12 school employees. There's good news out of the 2012 state legislative session, with Washington state's decision-makers avoiding any further cuts to the state's K-12 education system. Kindergarten Registration, Round-Ups Scheduled for May
In Federal Way schools, Kindergarten registration and Kindergarten roundups are held from May 1 through the first week in June. In order to register for Kindergarten, the child must be 5 years old by August 31. Read more »
